Cam’ron: Well I grew up in New York City: Harlem, New York. I played ball for probably two of the biggest amateur basketball organizations in the city. One being the Gauchos, the other being the Riverside Hawks. I went to Manhattan Center High School. I never graduated, but I came out of high school Top 25 in the country in the class of 1994. I ended up going to a junior college called Navarro Junior College in Texas…
I mean everybody knows I’m back, I’m back in the building, everybody knows that I’m back. Whatever was said when I wasn’t here, cool, but I’m back and you know I have no problem addressing any problem when a problem comes to me. It doesn’t matter who it is…

Cam’ron: My Mom had a stroke, she had three strokes in one day, three minor strokes. She’s paralyzed on the left side of her body. I took her to a specialist in Miami. Its about 11 months rehabilitation, transferred her back up here for about 6 months rehabilitation here, made sure she was back on her feet. You know, during that time everybody was like, “Where’s Cam, where’s Cam, where’s Cam?” People who was close to me kind of knew what was going on already, but…”
Paul on his new album: “We worked with a lot of new producers, a lot of new artists that I didn’t work with in the past, so they’ll get to see a lot of different vibes that they might have not seen with me with past albums. Subject matter we went a little more in-depth, talked about a lot of different things that I never really spoke on—I might have mentioned it here and there but never really made whole songs about…”
Bun B – “I thought it was very telling that he was able to do this record. And it was not just my favorite, but a lot of people’s favorite. A lot of people feel that way, but they’re not really sure about how to express that. I think that records like that make it a lot easier for the brother that considers himself hardcore, rough and tough and impenetrable, to understand that it’s okay to be real with certain people. A lot of times in life, especially in the streets and in the rougher side of the world, you’re told not to expose anything to anybody. But everybody has to break down and give it up to somebody.”
It was an epic situation over the past weekend in you didn’t hear. Jadakiss did a show at the world famous Apollo Theater and during his set brought out Harlem brethren Cam’ron. Watch the video to see this special occasion.
“I’m signed to Chopper City Records. I got Chopper City Records signed to Atlantic Records. I have T.I. executive producing the album. I have another deal for my Chopper City Boyz and I just put there album out a few months ago through Asylum. I got Chopper City open where I can run it through a few different companies and I have a few up and coming acts.“

The two discussed several topics from his start in the music game to his time in Hollywood on down to his love for his fans. In reading this, you’ll find that Project Pat was extremely candid and didn’t put up a front. He’s as real as it gets….

2005 saw the rebirth of the Houston Hip-Hop renaissance. Local heroes Mike Jones and Chamillionaire rose to platinum prominence while familiar faces such as U.G.K. and Lil’ Flip rode the wave as well to make that Lone Star impression across the entire game. One rapper in particular, with his trademark custom mouthpieces and penchant for endless similes in his lyrics were among those most successful. Calling himself The Peoples Champ, Paul Wall indeed represented the masses with…

Which would you prefer for Valentines Day: a home cooked dinner for two prepared by your partner or to be taken out to your favorite restaurant? Why? Slim: I’m always down for having a home cooked dinner! don’t get me wrong, eating at my favorite spot is good too, but a home cooked meal takes time to prepare & serve, which shows my partner put effort into making our dinner special
How do you define “romance”? Slim: Romance to me is when you can be with someone and still feel the same spark as you did the first time you met. Being “romantic” shouldn’t be a once a year affair. To me “just because” days can be just as romantic as Valentines!
What is the most unique thing you have ever done for a woman to show her you loved her? Slim: unique, hmmm. I think the word for me would be “consistently unique”. See, if you do a lot of small, everyday things to keep it fresh & exciting, you don’t need to do something hot during Valentines day, because you’ve been working it out the whole year. That’s me!
What is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for YOU on Valentine’s Day? Slim: Because i’m an R&B guy, i work most valentines day, so honestly, just getting to spend the small time i have with my loved ones is what i most appreciate and remember.
Which of your songs would make the Best Valentine’s Day dedication for the following situations:
A guy who is in the “doghouse”- Slim: “Apologize” or “Don’t Say It” A guy who wants to let his woman know she’s the one – Slim: “Sweet Baby” or “So Gone” Feat. Faith Evans A guy who has admired from afar and is finally ready to approach the girl- Slim: “Only You” from 112’s 1st album
Your single “Good Lovin” is starting to burn up the charts. What do you look for in a woman? Slim: A woman who’s genuine, confident and knows what she wants. Someone who respects me in the same way i respect her… Good looks & knowing how to cook is a PLUS!!
